GHOST RECON WILDLANDS NARCO ROAD REVIEW FREE
out of the helicopter and free falling without your parachute. EDIT: This achievement requires you to do one of these whilst free-falling - i.e. I enjoy tactical games tho, squad based tactical games and milsim.A little tricky but not too bad if you go to a certain spot in Media Luna, the starting area of this DLC.Īs you fly around in a helicopter on the DLC you might notice some "aerobatic" challenges which require you to fly through a single blue circle. That kamikaze's boss lines are exactly what you'ld expect from an 8 years old internet thug to say on an internet chat before their mother tell them to go to bed. I can only talk about the beginning, but the narrative is simply ridiculously over the top lol. Stobarticus gave many reasons why NR sucks, I haven't played enough to give as many reasons because to me, the DLC is pretty much garbage, I forced myself through the first hour and then I just decided to give up, because it simply sucks to me. So, is Narco Road such a glitchy unfinished product? No. Even the most hated game of 2016 - NML had more. I even can't remember any game which deserves such score. Originally posted by lastbreath:9% - mean disastrous unplayable junk with tons of bugs and glitches. by a massive margin, and for good reason. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I really am, but you have to appreciate you're a minority. It added a few things people never asked for and shouldn't have needed hindsight to know they wouldn't want and completely ignored all the things people had asked for. Narco Road was just a blatunt attempt at pulling in the younger audience (14-20 year olds), completely ignoring the demographic by copying ideas from GTA and failing miserabley. you can even reach the ceiling limit and remain vertical, just kinda hovering there.Ĭonsidering these are basically the majority of the whole content of Narco Road, it leaves very little left to enjoy. The planes can climb vertically all the way to the ceiling limit without stalling. Too much even for GTA IMO, maybe something you'd expect in Saints Row. The majority of Bosses and the dialogues are cringeworthy. The "Monster trucks" get stuck on thigh-high barriers at the side of roads and the turning on them goes from 0-100% way too quickly, often causing oversteering. try and get out to shoot them? No, because you get locked into an animation of closing the car door, or rolling on the ground. However you don't get a chance to enjoy it in Narco Road because as soon as one of the MANY enemy vehicles spot you, and they will spot you very quickly, you're hunted for miles by relentless pickups (with minigun and no nitro) that can somehow keep up with you, across all terrains. if GTA would introduce the same drift mechanics I would still be playing it now after 4k hours. I actually liked the driving mechanics of the drift cars. Narco Road forces you to play loud way too often.
GHOST RECON WILDLANDS NARCO ROAD REVIEW HOW TO
The idea of the main game was that it gave you options how to complete missions, be stealth or go loud. It isn't JUST that it doesn't fit with the Ghost recon theme, there are plenty of issues with it. But Narco Road was not even given a chance. There are plenty of bad games on Steam, but reviewers try to find good sides, admit them in reviews and even put thumbs up like worthly to check. If I wanted mindless action I would buy GTA 9% - mean disastrous unplayable junk with tons of bugs and glitches. Originally posted by Sc4r3crow :the DLC doesnt fit here. At least in Wildlands we have the option to turn the difficult to extreme and have something close to tactical gameplay.
I've tried playing it, well, I still try to force myself into playing Narco Road, but it sucks. If I wanted mindless action I would buy GTA. Narco Road aint bad if all you wanna do is mindless shooting around, but Ghost Recon is pointed towards tactical gameplay, so the DLC doesnt fit here. I would agree, if we weren't talking about Ghost Recon. Yes it's different a little, but 9% without giving a chance only because of more action? It's ridiculous and very fanboyish. This DLC really doesn't deserve all this hate. It was really cool to make a pause in the main game and add some action. Also DLC is good technically without critical bugs. If they spot you - they will follow you to the end. But he was skilled enough so it wasn't a problem for me.
The only controversial thing is that you have to start with new character. New cool bosses, action-packed missions (crazy racing is only in some side-challenges). Me with my friend had lot of fun playing co-op missions. Originally posted by lastbreath:I really don't understand why there is so much hate about this DLC.
